Just before the Open House today, the station was alerted for a combine on fire in Glenelg. Units responded to 3145 Pfefferkorn Road where the caller advised a combine was on fire next to the driveway and away from any buildings. Upon arrival Tanker 3 located the combine as described and proceeded to pull an attack line to extinguish the fire. Chief 3B held the command, and units made quick work of the fire in time to return for the Open House.
