Rescue on I-70

Early this morning units responded for a rescue with injuries on I-70. At 04:45, Tower 3 and Engine 31 responded to westbound I-70 near the weigh station for a vehicle in the trees. The caller, the driver of the vehicle, stated that everything hurt and there was bleeding everywhere, but fortunately she was able to get out of the car on her own. Upon arrival, Tower 3 located a single vehicle well off the road into the trees on westbound I-70 just west of Route 97. The single occupant was treated and transported to Carroll Hospital Center priority 3 by Paramedic 45. Units cleared at 05:18.
