A fundraiser to benefit Captain Jimmy Baker will be taking place at Memories Charcoal House in Mount Airy on Sunday, April 26th from Noon-5 pm. Memories will be donating 10% of all proceeds that afternoon to Jimmy and his family. There will also be raffles and 50/50 door prizes.
On Friday November 28, 2014 Captain Baker went into cardiac arrest while at the firehouse. Jimmy was quickly treated and crews were able to regain a pulse and transport him to Howard County General. Jimmy spent the next 6 weeks at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Fortunately he is back at home now, but he still needs our support!
