Come visit us all this week (August 4 through August 11) at the Howard County Fair at 2210 Fairground Rd. in West Friendship. As one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, we have several booths set up that we hope you will visit, including the ever popular Bingo, the Dunking Booth, Nevada, and others. Proceeds from these booths help us to fund our department. On Sunday August 5, the fair officially begins at 2:00 PM with the Grand Opening Parade and the 24th Annual West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department Parade. See http://howardcountyfair.org/fair_schedule.htm for more information on the fair schedule. Hope to see you there!
Smokey Bear (Chief 3B, Mark Miller) entertains the crowd at last year's Howard County Fair.
Fair attendees take part in the Money Wheel at last year's fair.
