At approximately 09:45 hrs rescue alarm 32-144 was sounded for a rescue with unknown injuries alerting Paramedic Engine 32 and Paramedic 35. Units arrived on location to find a two vehicle MVC involving a box truck and small sedan. The sedan was off the road with significant damage to the driver's side. The crew from Paramedic Engine 32 rapidly extricated the patient with a single Holmatro Combi-Tool and transferred care to the awaiting crew of Paramedic 35. The patient was extricated in 5 minutes by removing both driver's side doors and transferred to waiting MSP Trooper 3. Trooper 3 transported a Priority 2 patient to University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for further care.
