| At 10:47 this morning, units were dispatched to the 800 block of Henryton Road for an injured bicyclist. A caller reported that a mountain biker had fallen and struck his head in Patapsco Valley State Park near the dead end of Henryton Road.
Responding units accessed the patient and provided prompt medical treatment. The individual was assessed, stabilized, and prepared for transport by Maryland State Police Trooper 1, who airlifted the patient to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore Priority 1. The parking lot at the station was used as the landing zone and was secured by Tanker 3 and Brush 37.
Units cleared the scene at 11:50. |
