Rescue on I-70

This morning units were alerted for the reported rescue with entrapment on I-70 in West Friendship. At 06:23 units responded to I-70 eastbound near Route 32 after the Howard County 911 center received several calls about a two-vehicle accident in the area. Callers advised vehicles were off the roadway with one on top of the other.
Units arrived to find two vehicles as dispatched, with no entrapment. One patient was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital in stable condition, and units cleared at 06:58 after turning the scene over to the Maryland State Police.
