| Following the funeral services for President Roles, as the repass was concluding, the tones sounded for a rescue involving injuries on I-70 near Route 32. Callers reported that a vehicle struck a parked tractor-trailer, overturned, and collided with a box truck. Units arrived at eastbound I-70 near the Fairgrounds and found three patients requiring transport with no entrapment.
Two patients were transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and one patient was taken to Howard County General Hospital. New Midway Volunteer Fire Company Engine 91 from Frederick County, which attended the funeral of President Roles, responded to the call alongside WFVFD and other units. |
