Members and Station 3 B shift gathered at the James N. Robey Public Safety Training Center this evening to participate in ice rescue training. Captain Albrecht led the session, helping members review self-rescue techniques, familiarize themselves with equipment such as throw bags and rescue suits, and reinforce general ice safety practices.
Recent cold temperatures allowed the team to use one of the sediment ponds at the training center, providing realistic conditions for the exercise.
Continuous training is vital to ensure readiness for any emergency situation that may arise. If you're interested in joining us and serving your community, please visit the Recruitment page linked below for more information.
