At 18:50 units were dispatched to the 11800 block of Old Frederick Road in Marriottsville for the report of a horse stuck in the mud. Upon arrival units located Hershey, who was unable to free himself from a mud pit. Engine 32 requested the HCDFRS Special Operations unit and their specialized equipment was utilized to extract Hershey, who was not injured.
