At 13:25 units were dispatched to Marriottsville Road for the reported vehicle collision. Callers advised that there were two vehicles involved with one subject trapped, bringing the rescue assignment to the scene. Upon arrival units found a head on collision involving a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle on Marriottsville Road just north of Route 40. Units worked to quickly extricate one patient from the pickup truck who was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by Paramedic 35 while two patients from the passenger vehicle were transported to Howard County General Hospital. Units cleared at 14:27.
