For the second morning in a row WFVFD responded to a working house fire. This one, in Ellicott City, was dispatched at 01:08 this morning bringing Engine 31 and Tower 3 to the scene in the 10300 block of Kingsbridge Road. Multiple callers advised that there was a house on fire in the neighborhood. Upon arrival Engine 82 reported a three story single family home with heavy fire showing from the alpha and charlie sides and began a defensive attack. Tower 3 was assigned to Fire Attack and pulled a line to the charlie side while Engine 31 was used to supply Truck 7's master stream. All residents of the home were accounted for and command was terminated at 06:00 after extensive overhaul operations.
Engine 32 and Ambulance 36 filled in at Station 8 (Bethany Lane) for the duration of the incident.
