During the third quarter, Paramedic 35 was dispatched to the school at 12100 Woodford Drive for the football player with a head injury. Upon arrival Paramedic 35 found two injured players and requested an engine for manpower as well as aviation, bringing Engine 31, Paramedic 36, Utility 3, and Trooper 8 to the scene.
After treatment on the scene, including spinal immobilization, both players were placed in Trooper 8 for the flight to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. River Hill handed Marriotts Ridge a solid defeat, winning the game 49-6. The WFVFD sends best wishes for the quick recovery of the injured players.
