Tanker 3 responded this evening for a fire on I-70. At 20:42 the station was alerted for the reported RV on fire on Westbound I-70 near Marriottsville Road. While units were enroute the driver of the RV called to say the rear brakes and tires were on fire and brush near the road was starting to catch fire as well. Engine 82 arrived at westbound I-70 between Bethany Lane and Marriottsville Road to find an RV with fire from the rear. 82's crew began extinguishment as Tanker 3 arrived and set up to nurse Engine 82. The fire was out at 21:22.
