Units responded this evening for a fire on I-70. At 18:13, Engine 31 and Engine 82 were dispatched for a reported box truck on fire on westbound I-70 near Route 32. Engine 31 arrived at westbound I-70 near Sand Hill Road to find a box truck with fire in the engine compartment with some extension to the cab. Units made quick work of the fire and cleared at 18:47. No injuries were reported, and a mechanical problem is believed to have caused the fire.
