Members spent the weekend at the Howard County Fairgrounds for the annual Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. Held every year since 1974, the festival brings thousands of people to the Fairgrounds on the first full weekend in May for contests, demonstrations, workshops, fiber and yarn sales, and food and entertainment. Members stood by in the first aid tent and with our new ATV in case of medical emergencies; fortunately the weekend was relatively quiet.
