Units in Montgomery County responded today for a large brush fire. According to the Montgomery County fire department, embers from a resident burning a pile of debris in a yard caused a 70 acre brush fire in the Laytonsville area. At 14:43, Water Supply 3 was special requested to respond to Damascus Road and Hipsley Mill Road to assist with the water supply operation. WS 3 remained on scene until 16:19.
