WFVFD placed its newest engine in service today, taking delivery of a 2014 Pierce Impel from Atlantic Emergency Solutions. The new Engine 31 has a 450 horsepower Cummins engine, TAK-4 suspension, a 1000 gallon water tank, 40 gallons of Class A foam, and a 1500 gallon per minute pump. It replaces a 2004 Pierce engine that will be placed in the county reserve fleet.
