Units responded this morning for a fire in Clarksville in the 5-25 box. At 06:38, Tower 3, Water Supply 3 and Tanker 3 responded to 13517 Silent Lake Drive for a fire in the attached garage. Due to the length and steepness of the driveway, first arriving engines could not make access because of the snow and ice conditions. Engine 52 requested a four wheel drive unit, bringing Water Supply 3 and Brush 58 to the scene while crews walked back to the residence and located a vehicle on fire in the attached garage. Upon arrival Water Supply 3 laid 1400 feet of 5" LDH up the driveway and became the first arriving engine behind Brush 58. Despite the adverse conditions, the fire was contained to the garage portion of the structure with only smoke throughout the residence. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal. Units from WFVFD cleared at 08:36.
