Units responded today for the mutual aid call to Sykesville for a vehicle fire. At 20:04, the station was alerted to assist the Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department for a car on fire next to a house at 7400 Buttercup Road. Units from station 12 arrived to find a truck on fire next to a garage and requested the fire box assignment, bringing units from West Friendship, Winfield, Gamber, and Randallstown. Company 12 units put a quick knock on the blaze and Station 3 units assisted with overhaul. Light smoke was found inside the structure but no fire extension. Units from 3 cleared at 20:54.
