At 07:33 this morning, the tones sounded for a rescue with unknown injuries in West Friendship. Callers advised that there were several vehicles involved and one of them was overturned. Tower 3 arrived on Route 32 at I-70 to find a three vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer, a passenger car, and a pickup truck off the roadway on its side with the driver trapped inside. After a short extrication, Tower 3 was able to remove the pickup's driver through the windshield. The driver was subsequently transported to Howard County General Priority 3. The drivers of the other vehicles denied injury, and units cleared at 08:56. Chief 3B held the Route 32 command.
