| Units responded this evening for a reported motorcyclist down in the 3-6 box. At 18:16, Engine 31, Paramedic 36, and EMS 2 were alerted for the accident in the 11600 block of Old Frederick Road, near the entrance to Alpha Ridge Park. Upon arrival, Paramedic 36 found a single unresponsive patient lying on the ground next to a motorcycle who appeared to have struck a sign post. After confirming a trauma arrest, the patient was packaged and moved to Paramedic 36 and transported Priority 1 to Howard County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Howard County police closed Old Frederick Road in the area for a short time for their investigation, and units cleared at 20:05. |
