| The WFVFD held its annual open house today under bright blue skies at the firehouse. Residents who stopped by Station 3 were able to see a little of what we do and how we do it. Members gave tours of the firehouse and apparatus, demonstrated a vehicle extrication, gave kids a chance to use a fire hose, and gave CPR and fire extinguisher demonstrations. The Howard County Police Traffic Enforcement Section was also on hand to answer questions about accident reconstruction, and like last year the police helicopter landed out back.
