Tower 3 First-In Truck On Mount Airy Box

Today at 16:05 Tower 3 was dispatched for the reported building fire at 1604 Back Acre Circle in Mt. Airy. Carroll Engine 12 was the first unit on scene and reported heavy smoke from the building. The officer off of Carroll Engine 12 met with employees to find out that they were dealing with a combustible metals fire, at which point the Carroll County Haz-Mat team and second alarm were added to the call. Fire was extinguished and over-haul was completed. Units were on scene for over 4 hours.
