| The Howard County Fair is right around the corner (August 7-14, 2010), and members of the WFVFD are in full swing preparing for it. Please take some time to visit our stands and contribute to the cause. Like last year, we will be staffing the Bingo Hall, the Dunking Booth, the Snowball Stand, the Money Wheel, and the Nevada Stand as well as providing EMS and fire protection for the fairgrounds. Be sure to come by on Sunday, August 8 at 2:00 PM to see the 27th Annual West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department Parade and Grand Opening Parade on the midway. Other activities of interest include the Skid Steer Competition on August 9th at 6:30 PM, the Zero Turn Mower Challenge on August 11th at 6:30 PM, and the Tug of War Contest on August 12th at 7:00 PM.
