| The mild weather this weekend brought plenty of motorcyclists to area roads, and with them came the inevitable. At 12:31, units were alerted for the motorcycle accident with injuries on Forsythe Road at Underwood Road. Tanker 3 arrived at the scene on Old Frederick Road between Underwood Road and Forsythe Road to find a motorcycle into the guardrail with the driver lying in a field. Arriving soon after, crews from Engine 31 and Paramedic 45 worked on packaging the patient and stabilizing his various injuries. The accident is under investigation by the Howard County Police Traffic Enforcement Section, and speed is believed to be a factor. The patient was flown by MSP Trooper 3 to Shock Trauma Priority 1. Chief 3 held the command, and units cleared at 13:16. |
