| At 21:32, Tower 3 was dispatched on the fifth alarm for the building fire in Violetville in the 1400 block of Rome Rd. Strong winds spread the fire from a smaller building to a warehouse that housed a trucking company and the Casey Cares Foundation, an organization that helps ill children. Howard County units on the scene included Tower 3, Rescue Squad 1 (Elkridge), and Battalion Chief 1. Two firefighters, one from Howard County, were injured and the WFVFD sends our wishes for a speedy recovery. |
