Early this morning at 03:04 units from West Friendship and surrounding stations were alerted for a house fire in the 12100 block of Triadelphia Road. Neighbors called 911 and stated that they could see a fire on the side of the house. Chief 5A arrived and found a grill and deck of the home on fire. Tower 3 was first arriving, followed by Tanker 3 and Chief 3. Tower 3's crew advanced a hose line from Tanker 3 to extinguish the fire and also checked for extension to the house. Chief 3 had the command and units cleared the scene at 04:44 after providing lighting for the fire investigators.
