Members took Tower 3 to New Windsor in Carroll County today to participate in the Maryland State Fireman's Association Spring Rural Water Supply Drill. Tower 3 joined over 30 other units from as far away as Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in establishing six fill sites and two dump sites to provide water for a simulated fire attack. According to Chief Coe of the New Windsor Fire Department over 170,000 gallons of water was moved with an average flow of 1,400 gallons per minute. WFVFD would like to thank New Windsor for hosting the drill this year and providing us with this training opportunity.
